Our Story

What Is A Lead? A lead is another word for a prospect. When you’re buying houses, it’s anyone who calls you with a house for sale.

In our normal course of business, buying houses, hundreds and thousands of homeowners wanting to buy or sell their house, call us, and we complete a property information sheet to collect all the facts from them. In the past, we’d select a few homeowners that seem motivated to sell, that fit our buying criteria and discard the rest.

Now we repurpose this valuable and current information to other industries who will use it to sell their products or
serv1ces to these homeowners that have given us consent to share their current needs with you.

 

We do things a bit differently, and that’s the way we like it!

Who Buys These Leads?

Many businesses buy leads from numerous sources that have expressed interest in their product or service.

Some buy online leads that come from spiders and cookies that search the internet! looking for keywords that relate to these products.

These are poor grade lödeas. In fact, most aren’t really leads and most are worthless.

Some businesses generate their own through advertising and multiple media such as radio, TV, newspaper, online, direct mail, etc.

All leads have a value, and it will be determined by:

  • Age of the information
  • Quality of the information
  • Transaction value of the business
  • Willingness of the business to follow up

For example, a Realtor® with an average transaction value of$3,000 can afford to pay $25 for information that a homeowner has a house for sale and it’s not currently listed. If they list only one out of ten of these prospects, the listing cost $250 ($25 x 10).

Simple math will justify the cost and aggressive Realtors® won’t need to be sold on the concept. They are probably paying more for the same listing if they are marketing.

However, a business like a restaurant will likely not buy leads because their transaction value is !ow and they normally don’t market in this manner so the lead wouldn’t be followed up if they got it.
